November 4, 2015 - Dr. Justin L. Adams participated as a panelist at the CalAsian Chamber's Global Policy Summit. Dr. Adams discussed creating sustainable energy policy for economic growth.



July 24, 2015 - The Sacramento Bee describes how the California Lottery is now booming thanks to changes made in 2010. These changes were based in part to a financial analysis conducted by Dr. Adams showing that increased prize payouts could double the Lottery's sales. 

September 16, 2014 - The 
California Drivers Alliance released Encina Advisors' economic impact study on placing transportation fuels under the state's Cap-and-Trade Program. The study finds that placing fuels under the cap is expected to cost California over 18,000 jobs next year, but with about a one-in-five chance will cost over 66,000 jobs.

April 21, 2014 - Dr. Justin L. Adams attended the NFIB/California Annual Day at the Capitol events, including the Leadership Trust Dinner with featured guest Karl Rove

October 10, 2013 - Governor Brown announced that he has signed AB 955 (Williams), which creates a pilot program allowing community college students to voluntarily pay higher fees to take high-demand classes during intersessions.  We think this is a smart step that can help increase the availability of classes for all community college students and help them graduate more quickly. Read our April 2012 posting at Fox & Hounds Daily on a similar initiative that Santa Monica College tried to implement last year but was ultimately scuttled.
